Stealer Logs Posted to Telegram data breach: 26.1M accounts exposed

In July 2024, info stealer logs with 26M unique email addresses were collated from malicious Telegram channels. The data contained 22GB of logs consisting of email addresses, passwords and the websites they were used on, all obtained by malware running on infected machines. Exposed data: email addresses, passwords. The breach dates from Jul 18, 2024; Have I Been Pwned loaded it on Aug 1, 2024.
What to do
- If you had a Stealer Logs Posted to Telegram account, change its password and the password of any other account that reused it.
- Turn on multi-factor authentication wherever it is offered.
- Check whether your addresses are in this breach at https://haveibeenpwned.com.
- Expect targeted phishing that quotes the leaked details; verify any unexpected contact out of band.
