Severity: high · Patch status: patched · Since 2022-05-25 · CVE-2010-1428
Unauthenticated access to the JBoss Application Server Web Console (/web-console) is blocked by default. However, it was found that this block was incomplete, and only blocked GET and POST HTTP verbs. A remote attacker could use this flaw to gain access to sensitive information. CISA added CVE-2010-1428 to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on May 25, 2022, which means attackers are exploiting it in the wild. CISA reports known use in ransomware campaigns.
What to do

- US federal agencies must remediate by Jun 15, 2022 (BOD 22-01); treat that as the outer limit.
