The Director component in Mitel MiVoice Connect allows an authenticated attacker with internal network access to execute code within the context of the application. CISA added CVE-2022-41223 to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on Feb 21, 2023, which means attackers are exploiting it in the wild. CISA reports known use in ransomware campaigns.
