IDC Games data breach: 4.0M accounts exposed

In March 2021, 4 million records sourced from IDC Games were shared on a public hacking forum. The data included usernames, email addresses and passwords stored as salted MD5 hashes. Exposed data: email addresses, passwords, usernames. The breach dates from Mar 15, 2021; Have I Been Pwned loaded it on Nov 17, 2021.
What to do
- If you had a IDC Games account, change its password and the password of any other account that reused it.
- Turn on multi-factor authentication wherever it is offered.
