IBM InfoSphere BigInsights Invalid Input Vulnerability (CVE-2013-3993)

Certain APIs within BigInsights can take invalid input that might allow attackers unauthorized access to read, write, modify, or delete data. CISA added CVE-2013-3993 to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on May 25, 2022, which means attackers are exploiting it in the wild. CISA reports known use in ransomware campaigns.
