A heap buffer overflow in Fortinet FortiOS and FortiProxy may cause the SSL VPN web service termination for logged in users. CISA added CVE-2018-13383 to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on Jan 10, 2022, which means attackers are exploiting it in the wild. CISA reports known use in ransomware campaigns.
