Cisco published a Critical-rated security hardening release for Meraki OS addressing seven internally discovered vulnerability groups, each assigned a CVE by CWE class: improper access control (CVE-2026-76463, CVSS 8.8), memory buffer issues (CVE-2026-76464, CVSS 9.6), resource lifetime control (CVE-2026-76467), input validation (CVE-2026-76468), control flow management (CVE-2026-76469), incorrect calculation (CVE-2026-76470) and injection (CVE-2026-76472). Affected products include Meraki MG cellular gateways, MR access points, MS switches, MV cameras, MX security/SD-WAN appliances and Campus Gateways regardless of configuration. Issues were found in internal testing (including with frontier AI models) and are not known to be exploited. No workarounds exist; fixed releases are shipping or scheduled through mid-November 2026.
